Alger Blake Crawford's first day on the job as part of the task force to take down major super villains for the government was unfortunate, or was it?He was called in at Talos Labs to investigate a the terrible science related murders that have been happening there.While he was there a scientist named Dr.Arthos, secretly a mad genius, called him in to "help" him with something.

Dr.Arthos planned on using Alger in an experiment on using genetic enhancement research from his colleague Dr.Monrow, to create a god made flesh!

When Alger walked in the room he was attacked by Dr.Arthos's two androids, Gega and Omega. Alger was injected with some type of genetic serum and irradiated with gamma, alpha, and beta radiation. The resulting of the energies proved itself very powerful. It released a shock blast that destroyed from the lab and a 3-mile radius around the lab. It drove Dr.Arthos to the brink of insanity.
But, Dr.Arthos escaped the destruction and discovered that the blast gave him amazing powers.

Alger weary and weak after the blast and called his old friend George Powers, secretly Mighty Marvel and Alger doesnt know it.George came over and walked him to the closest place that could help, the Superior Intellects Lab.The Superior Intellect and George discovered he had gained amazing powers. Waking from his long sleep, Alger felt very good. George told him about his powers and his secret!Over time Alger honed his skills with the aid of his friend George Powers, AKA Mighty Marvel. Mighty would have never imagined that this kid he has know for ages would turn out to be the Vengeful Tropical Thunder!!!

Over the years Tropical Thunder has fought many enemys like The Vindicator, Tropical Thunders Shadow, War Thunder, General Shade, The Superior Intellect, and the Defender. But never has he faced such an enamy as Ray the Omega Soldier. Ray even managed to kill him! tropical Thunder managed to come back. He came from the grave corrupted though. He killed Ray when he came back.

Tropical Thunders strength is unknown. Tropical Thunder can think,react,and move a little bit under the speed of sound. He has super jump. Tropical Thunders genetically irradiated body can control anything to do with the elements. He knows many martial arts styles. He has regeneration(slow).He is 50%resistant to mind attacks. He has skills in every type of gun because the military trained him. When he angry his fists blaze with fire. When his ready to beat up on you his whole body burns with fire.And his eyes are always on fire.
